Our mission at Odontología Sin Fronteras is to provide quality specialized education for all Spanish-speaking dentists in different parts of the world. We also have a responsibility to you, Doctor, to protect your data and privacy on the web, and to be transparent in all policies regarding it.

In this regard, we take measures following the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD, Brazil) and, in this document, we demonstrate how we process and protect your data. This document aims to inform those who subscribe to our website or use any of our products, services, or any other resource, technology, or functionality that we offer in relation to your data.

Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for receiving requests from data subjects and/or users (you), providing clarifications, and taking measures regarding the protection of your data, and can be contacted at info@rayanepinto.com.

  • Information about the possibility of not giving your consent and about the consequences of refusal;
  • Revocation of consent, in accordance with §5 of Art. 8 of the LGPD;
  • Right to request your data from the data controller before the national authority.

To exercise your rights, you must send an email to our Data Protection Officer (DPO): info@rayanepinto.com, containing information about which right you wish to exercise and about which data.
The data may vary depending on the right to be exercised and the processing activity, so we may request other data so that we can respond to you and, if applicable, fulfill your request.
We always strive to respond as quickly as possible, up to within 15 days, following the parameter established by the LGPD in its Art. 19, II. However, your request may not always be fulfilled, as it may not be applicable according to legal provisions. If so, it will be duly justified based on the legislation.

8. With whom do we share your personal data?

‍We only share your personal data for the purposes specified in this Notice or when there is a legal requirement.
Your data will be shared with systems, platforms, and/or applications necessary for the execution of our activities and in accordance with the purpose provided for each personal data processing.
This information is collected directly and automatically by these third parties, and ODONTOLOGIA SIN FRONTERAS CURSOS E TREINAMENTOS LTDA does not participate in these data transmissions. Third parties that receive information related to users' personal data are required to comply with the provisions of this Privacy Notice, as well as the site's Terms and Conditions and applicable legislation.
The holder of the personal data, you, may give your consent to the transfer of your data under the terms described in this Notice when subscribing to our website or using any of our products, services, or any other resource, technology, or functionality.
In the case of authorization to include your phone number in a group in the WhatsApp application, it is expressly stated and clarified that such application ("WhatsApp") is controlled by Meta companies, and it is an intrinsic feature of said application that, upon inclusion of a phone number in a message group, the phone number and personal identification (name and photo) used by the user in that same application become accessible to other users who are also members of the same group, community, or similar. This consent may be revoked at any time through the contact means available in this notice, with the understanding that revocation will result in the exclusion of the holder from such application group.

8.1. Embedded content from other sites

‍Articles on this website may include embedded content, such as videos, images, articles, etc. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you were visiting the other site.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content if you have an account on that website and are logged in.

9. International data transfer

‍We use some products or services (or parts of them) that are hosted outside of Brazil, which means we may transfer any information you send us abroad. This is due to the need to store personal data in the cloud, where servers may be located in other countries.

10. What are the consequences of not providing your data?

‍You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. However, as these data are necessary for the execution of the contract you have with us, for our communication, or any other specific purpose informed, we will not be able to carry out those operations without your data. Similarly, concerning the exercise of your rights provided in the LGPD. That is, if you do not provide the personal data necessary for confirming your identity, we will not be able to respond to your related request.

11. Right to file a complaint before the national authority

‍We will only process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice and the LGPD. However, if you wish to file a complaint about our processing activities related to your personal data, you have the right to submit a petition (see section 7. What are your rights and how can they be exercised?) to the National Authority.

12. Changes to this Privacy Notice

‍This Notice may be revised at any time, in order to keep it updated in relation to applicable legislation and the company's own organization. Therefore, we recommend that you consult this document periodically and check the date of the last update.
